Scott’s career in law enforcement began in 1987. During the past twenty-two years in law enforcement there have been many positions held; from daily patrol, Detective and Dog handler. When the Police Chief position became available in 2005 I was honored to be selected to this position and return to serve Simpsonville. Since 2005 the size of the City’s Police force has increased from a one man department to a four officer department. One of my main goals for the Department is to provide full-time twenty-four hour coverage for the citizens of our city. Scott also serves as a member of the E911 Board within Shelby County. I have had the pleasure of serving the Simpsonville community for nine years.
